The Role

As a People Tech Business Systems & Reporting Analyst at Addepar, you will play a pivotal role in a hybrid capacity, dedicating 70% of your time to Workday configuration and 30% to people reporting and analytics within the Addepar People team. Your responsibilities span across gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, maintaining user documentation, and providing technical support. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of tools and insights for our people and decision-makers, acting as an advisor, consultant, project manager, technology promoter, data analyst, and security/privacy advocate.

What You’ll Do

Workday Configuration (70%):

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, recommending improvements to existing processes.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, including process maps, system configurations, and test plans.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for systems.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends, offering recommendations for new solutions and improvements.
  • Build and deliver reports and dashboards.

People Reporting & Analytics (30%):

  • Collaborate with the People technology leader and stakeholders to develop tools and insights for our people and decision-makers.
  • Coordinate and perform testing for new functionality and updates to configurations.
  • Provide post-implementation/change support to client groups.
  • Act as an advisor, consultant, and project manager in functional areas such as Workday HCM, talent & performance, absence management, security administration, process design, and reporting & analytics.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience of refining and re-designing business processes
  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end Workday HCM
  • Demonstrable experience in Workday configuration and administration
  • Experience managing full life cycle solution design
  • Experience working with survey data, text analytics, and other forms of unstructured data
  • Experience creating custom Workday HCM reports
  • Experience with EIB's and ILoads to load the new data and change the existing data
  • Experience with creating custom reports for Simple, Advanced reports, Matrix Reports, Composite reports in Workday
  • Experience creating calculated fields to be used in custom reports to pull data into the Workday report
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating complex spreadsheets, applying advanced formulas, functions, and data visualization tools within Google Sheets
  • Demonstrable ability to design and implement efficient and scalable spreadsheet solutions for diverse reporting needs
  • Proficient in data analysis techniques, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large datasets within Google Sheets
  • Experience in performing trend analysis, variance analysis, and other analytical methodologies to support informed decision-making
  • Hands-on experience with Google Apps Script or other scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the efficiency of reporting processes in Google Sheets.
  • Track record of designing and developing dynamic and visually appealing dashboards using Google Sheets, providing clear and concise summaries of key performance indicators
  • Ability to clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for reporting purposes.
  • Project management experience, partner management experience and very comfortable working with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work remotely in the UK and overlap at least 3 hours with Pacific Standard Time
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
