Role Overview
As our first HR hire, you will be responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies, streamlining hiring processes, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience. You’ll work closely with leadership to build a strong team and implement retention initiatives that support long-term growth.
Responsibilities
Talent Recruitment
- Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract top-tier robotics, AI, and engineering talent
- Manage the full-cycle hiring process, from sourcing to on boarding
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs
- Partner with hiring managers to define job roles and ensure a seamless interview process
- Leverage employer branding, networking, and recruitment marketing to attract candidates
People Operations & Culture
Build HR processes to support a growing workforce, including performance management and career development
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create an inclusive workplace
- Act as a trusted advisor for employees and leadership on people-related matters
- Design and implement retention strategies that foster employee satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate successfully
- Conduct stay interviews, feedback sessions, and engagement surveys to assess employee needs
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, or people operations, MUST be in a startup environment
- Proven track record of hiring and retaining top talent in competitive markets
- Experience building and scaling hiring processes from scratch
- Passion for technology, robotics, and creating a thriving workplace
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wear multiple hats
