Role Overview:

As a Project Manager at dataplor, you'll play a pivotal role on the team building and maintaining our constantly evolving, near real-time database of every place in the world. You will work directly with the product and engineering team to plan and execute work, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements and expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with product and engineering to define project timelines, tasks, and requirements
• Assist in balancing team priorities with both planned and unplanned work
• Monitor and communicate project status and deliverables out to cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop methods to track and improve team efficiency and effectiveness
• Implement and manage changes to the team’s agile workflows as needed
• Support project retrospectives to identify areas of both success and improvement

You’ll need to have:

• 5 years of project management experience within the tech and engineering space, ideally at an early stage startup
• Incredible attention to detail
• Experience working with project management tools such as Linear or Jira
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical work and requirements out to non-technical stakeholders
• Technical familiarity or experience with things like SQL, Javascript, Ruby
• Past experience with geospatial data and analysis is a plus
