Job Title: Lead Product Manager

Location: Remote (USA time zone) or any of our offices in Honolulu, San Francisco, New York, West Palm Beach.

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to join our team as a Lead Product Manager. This role requires a strong comfort level with remote work and global collaboration as well as a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Job Summary

The Lead Product Manager will support core point of interest (POI), data operations and location intelligence product initiatives. In addition to opportunity recognition with Clients/Sales for geospatial AI products, a key responsibility of this role will be to facilitate business and data quality programs across global Data Operations Teams, ensuring quality B2B platform insights products are shipped at scale and on-time with Engineering, Data Science and Technical Program Teams. The job requires an intrinsic internal and external mindset to “get done what needs to be done” in a Series A startup launching new GeoAI products with a global footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the CPO and product team to define, develop, and execute our product roadmap
  • Be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the quality of our core POI data
  • Coordinate with a global Data Quality Management team to develop and iterate on processes and tools used to analyze and review our data
  • Conduct customer research to understand the needs, pain points, and success metrics of both internal and external customers
  • Identify product opportunities based on customer feedback and market research
  • Continuously measure and analyze product performance, using data to inform product decisions and drive improvements
  • Act as a subject matter expert on geospatial technologies and data management best practices
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product team

Requirements

Must Have:

  • 5-8 year proven track record leading successful data product management initiatives such as: big data capture, ingest, and normalization; privacy compliance (pseudonymization/anonymization, regulatory compliance, mobile device OS T&C compliance); AI/ML algorithms (recommendation engines, application of transformers for human automation, etc.)
  • Product roadmap development and delivery management across global teams
  • Extensive experience working in Agile and/or ShapeUp delivery environments
  • piloting with prospects & clients
  • writing acceptance criteria & iterating on delivery with Engineering, Data Science and Technical Program Management
  • leading pre-launch QA efforts and ensuring post-launch product quality
  • leading or working closely with Product Marketing for GTM product launch efforts
  • Hands on experience with data analysis and PostgreSQL
  • Ability to coordinate across different business units, acting as the mediator between differing opinions while driving product strategy forward
  • Program management experience managing against company-wide as well as product platform objectives and key results
  • Ability to travel 30% domestic USA and globally

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with geospatial mapping, location intelligence, mobile SDKs and/or automotive data platform technologies
  • Global Operating Experience managing distributed teams
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science or data science delivering hardware and/or large scale software systems
  • MBA
