Position Overview:

As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Manna Drone Delivery, you will play a crucial role in the development and refinement of the electronic systems that power our drone technology. Reporting to the Electronics Engineering Manager, this position requires a creative and analytical thinker who can design, test, and implement complex electronic circuits and control systems. You will collaborate with other engineers and technical teams to contribute to the successful execution of our innovative drone delivery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems using tools such as Altium 2024 and Rapidharness.
• Ensure robust and redundant system architectures to meet strict safety and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with other senior engineers on multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration of electronic sub-systems and that all solutions meet rigorous design and functional requirements.
• Create and implement system specifications, testing protocols and documentation and validation procedures.
• Assist in managing project requirements, scope & timelines and ensure that all system designs are compliant with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in electronic system design.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in electronic systems development, ideally with expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS) for Li-ion, LiPo, NMC battery chemistries
• Experience leading projects from concept to close.
• Experience in Power Electronics circuit design including switched-mode (SMPS) Buck/Boost & linear converter design and optimization
• Experience with complex circuit schematic capture & PCB layout using Altium 2024 and full-cycle prototype PCB test, debug and iteration
• Experience with BLDC motor, stepper motor, servo control & ESCs
• Mixed-signal/high-speed circuit design including optimization for EMI, signal integrity etc.
• Familiarity with HW design to support wireless protocols such as Differential-GNSS, LTE, WLAN & Bluetooth
• Experience with Wiring/Cable/Connector design and optimisation for Power and complex IO systems
• Familiarity with C/CPP/Python or similar to implement automated test procedures when required
