Summary

Plus One Robotics is looking for an QA intern to work directly with our QA team in the Boulder CO office to assist with testing and evaluation to help ensure that the products produced at Plus One Robotics are dependable and of the highest quality. The internship will be full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. We’re seeking an ambitious and collaborative person who has interest in supporting our team in providing excellent robotics software.

Essential Functions

You will work with the QA team to do the following:

• Take tasking from QA Group Lead, report progress and status in a timely manner
• Utilize QA reporting and documentation tools
• Set up test bench equipment for QA release testing
• Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs
• Must perform manual and hands-on testing
• Develop and execute automation software

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Problem solving, you can identify the cause of the issues, fully understand them and troubleshoot solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly collaborative, adept in building relationships, and communicating with stakeholders at every level
• Must be able to be an advocate for the product and the customer, even in the face of adversity
• Familiar or interested in programming, computer science, or robotics Required Education and Experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
• Currently enrolled in an accredited educational program
• Additional Eligibility Qualifications
• Must have reliable transportation to the Boulder office

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses
standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and
filing cabinets. This position will also have occasional work in the warehouse, either
in our facility or our customer’s. While performing the duties of this job, the
employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts,
and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Expected Hours of Work

• Summer, full time (40 hours/week) between M-F, 9:00am-6:30pm.
• During school year, part time (10-20 hours/week) between M-F, 9:00am6:30pm.
