QA Intern - San Antonio

Summary
Plus One Robotics is seeking a QA intern to join our San Antonio office. In this role, the intern will assist with both software and hardware testing to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and quality. This is a part-time internship that starts immediately. We are looking for an ambitious, collaborative individual eager to contribute to our team’s success.
Essential Functions
As a QA intern, you will collaborate closely with the QA team to:
- Take direction from the QA Group Lead, providing timely updates on your progress and status
- Utilize QA reporting and documentation tools effectively
- Set up test bench equipment for QA release testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly and accurately
- Perform manual, hands-on testing of our products
- Develop and execute automation scripts for testing purposes
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for diagnosing issues and troubleshooting solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for advocating for both the product and the customer, even in challenging situations.
- Familiarity with programming, computer science, or robotics is a plus.
Required Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate of an accredited educational program
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must have reliable transportation to the San Antonio office.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position will also have occasional work in the warehouse, either in our facility or our customer’s. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The employee is frequently required to sit; drive; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, requiring 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
