About the Role

As a Manual QA Engineer at PrivacyHawk, you’ll be the guardian of quality across our products. You’ll design and run test cases, uncover edge cases, and collaborate closely with developers to ensure our users have a seamless, secure experience. This role is perfect for someone who loves to break things (in a good way), thinks critically, and thrives in a fast-paced startup.

What You’ll Do

• Review system specs and translate them into clear test strategies
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios for web, mobile, and APIs
• Log and track issues with precision using tools like Jira, Xray, or TestRail
• Validate UI/UX, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across devices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed quality into every stage of the SDLC
• Help troubleshoot issues and verify fixes post-release
• Document bugs, results, and learnings thoroughly

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing
• Proven ability to write clear test plans, bug reports, and documentation
• Strong eye for detail with the ability to spot edge cases others miss
• Familiarity with cross-browser and responsive testing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
