In 2024, R + J expanded its platform with end-to-end deposit management, streamlining how security deposits and insurance solutions are administered. Today, our comprehensive suite of products – including security deposit insurance, cash security deposit management, lease guarantees, renters insurance, and loss of employment insurance – continues to transform the renting experience, making moving easier, more affordable, and more transparent for all.
As a Recruiter at Rhino + Jetty, you’ll assume a critical role to support our headcount plans for 2026 and beyond.
In this role you will:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple roles, guiding candidates and stakeholders through each stage with clarity and efficiency.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, success profiles, and team needs.
- Proactively source and screen talent using diverse methods to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
- Support coordination activities, ensuring interviews, assessments, and communications are smooth and timely.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience by continuously improving processes and coaching stakeholders on best practices.
experience with or curiosity about new AI recruiting tools - Stay current on market trends, sourcing innovations, and recruitment best practices, bringing forward new ideas and tools.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external recruiting partners and vendors as needed.
- Contribute to broader People Team initiatives and ad-hoc projects that support company growth and culture.
We’re ideally seeking:
- 3-7 years of recruiting experience, ideally in executive recruiting or in-house at a startup
- Proven track record of success in outbound sourcing for hard-to-fill or technical roles
- Experience running effective recruitment processes, including structured interviewing
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good decision making skills
- Team player, detail oriented and flexible
- Experience using an ATS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- New York City location preferred
Benefits:
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $170,000
Rhino + Jetty has partnered with a number of compensation benchmarking tools to determine competitive and fair market pay bands for our size and stage. Our goal is to ensure each employee is paid equitably and competitively while also maintaining a consistent and standardized methodology.
Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level and balancing internal equity relative to other teammates.
Base salary is just one part of our Total Rewards Package here at R + J. In connection with this position, we also offer:
