About the role
The Visual Systems Architect is a senior design leader who operates at the intersection of concept, system, and execution. This role is responsible for defining, building, and evolving visually inspiring yet highly practical and scalable design systems that serve the entire organization. The Visual Systems Architect will drive clarity, consistency, and usability across Socure’s brand—empowering both designers and non-design teams to consistently produce exceptional, on-brand work. The ideal candidate demonstrates hands-on expertise in translating big-picture strategic intent into robust design systems, and excels at taking concepts through all stages—from ideation to polished deliverables.
What you'll do
Shape and extend foundational design concepts into scalable, robust systems used across marketing, product, sales, events, and internal communications
Partner closely with the Creative Director on early-stage ideation and concept development, then architect visual frameworks ready for organizational adoption.
Hands-on execution of high-quality design work across mediums, including campaigns, activations, events, ads, websites, and presentations
Ensure all delivered assets meet high standards of creative excellence and brand stewardship while supporting rapid, concurrent project deadlines.
Design systems are accessible, usable, and adaptable—helping expert designers and non-designers create well-branded work.
Apply emerging design trends, tools, and technologies (including AI) to evolve and future-proof Socure visual systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to synthesize requirements and drive creative solutions.
Proactively integrate stakeholder feedback, iterate systems and assets, and elevate creative quality through continuous process improvement.
Foster communication, timely review cycles, and effective prioritization within the creative pipeline
What you bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in agency, studio, or in-house creative environments, with demonstrated measurable impact in growing/evolving brand systems and delivering campaign-level creative
Demonstrated mastery bridging strategic thinking, systems development, and hands-on execution.
Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in fast-paced settings.
Advanced organizational, operational, and project management capability; able to manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail and strong prioritization skills.
Entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for creative innovation.
Exceptional time management and ability to deliver flawless, high-quality assets under pressure.
Excellent communication and feedback skills; thrives in iterative, collaborative design environments.
Passion for design system craft and empowering teams through usable, scalable frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or related field (preferred).
