About the Role

The Principal Product Strategist is a senior individual contributor in the Product organization operating at the intersection of product strategy, business strategy, and commercialization. This role supports Socure leaders in shaping the multi-year vision for Core Products, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures our product innovation and portfolio stays ahead of market and customer needs.

Reporting to the Head of Product Strategy & Operations, you will be aligned to partner closely with Core Product leadership across Socure’s revenue-driving product suite. You will collaborate with Product, Platform, Engineering, Commercial, FP&A, BizOps, and Enablement teams to translate strategy into scalable, high-impact execution. A key focus of this role is simplifying how customers buy, activate, and realize value from Socure’s products, including defining use-case-driven product experiences that span multiple core offerings. You will develop deep expertise in Socure’s products, platform, competitive landscape, and industry trends. A key contribution you will make is applying market and business insight to inform strategic decisions and long-term product success.

What You'll Do

Strategic Partnership & Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Core Product leadership, providing insight, structure, and execution support to drive priorities and outcomes.

  • Act as a thought leader and partner, fostering a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and operational rigor.

  • Define use-case-driven positioning and messaging, especially where multiple products are bundled into a single customer solution.

  • Partner with Marketing on positioning, messaging, and launch strategies to drive adoption and market penetration.

  • Establish clear, scalable product documentation for Sales, Customer Success, and customers.

  • Partner with Global Enablement to ensure internal teams are trained to effectively position and support core product use cases.

  • Create strong feedback loops from GTM teams back to Product and Technology to inform roadmap and innovation.

  • Support our core product leadership team as we drive towards new market / use case expansion

Product Strategy & Operational Excellence at Scale

  • Drive roadmap transparency and alignment across the company in partnership with the Head of Product Strategy & Operations.

  • Own OKR alignment and tracking for Core Product teams within the Product & Technology COE.

  • Standardize and continuously improve product development lifecycle processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Drive cross-functional operational alignment across Product & Technology and other COEs.

  • Identify and drive scalable improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • Lead commercialization efforts for new products, including pricing, packaging, positioning, and launch readiness.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field for example mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, economics; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, strategy consulting, or commercialization within fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or technology companies.

  • Strong background in B2B SaaS; experience in fintech, identity, or fraud prevention is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of product development, technology, and business operations.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and transformation with a strong bias to action.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. You will be tested for your ability to break down problems, develop insights and communicate a recommendation to executives in a structured, clear and succinct manner

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence without direct people management; experience working with executive and C-suite stakeholders is a plus.
