JOB DESCRIPTION: EXPERIENCE AND BRAND INTERN
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT
REPORTS TO: MANAGER, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
WORK STATUS: PART TIME (TEMPORARY/OPEN-ENDED); 15-35 HOURS PER WEEK

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented graduate intern to support key initiatives focused on team member experience, internal brand engagement, and guest touchpoints. What You’ll Do
- Strategic Project Management: Own and drive key workstreams within Brand and Experience initiatives, ensuring alignment with Surf Air Mobility’s long-term organizational goals and guest-first philosophy.
- Experience Design (EX/CX/UX): Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to analyze and optimize touchpoints across the User, Customer, and Employee Experience journeys, identifying opportunities for systemic improvement.
- Internal Brand Advocacy: Lead the tactical execution of company-wide culture initiatives, managing the development and deployment of internal communications, assets, and environmental branding.
- Operational Excellence: Manage complex administrative projects and operational procedures related to guest experience, including the end-to-end coordination of airport lounge renovation workstreams and stakeholder follow-ups.
- Culture Integration: Synthesize the company’s "Ground Rules" into actionable cultural moments, developing creative programs that embed our core values into the daily employee experience.
- Research & Benchmarking: Conduct competitive research on best practices in branding, internal communications, and travel in the electrification era to provide data-driven recommendations for experience enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
- Advanced Academic Foundation: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or PhD program in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
- Systems Thinking: A demonstrated ability to view projects through a holistic lens, understanding how Employee Experience (EX) and Internal Branding impact broader Customer Experience (CX) and business outcomes.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging messaging for diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Leadership: Proven experience managing multi-faceted projects from conception to completion, with a high degree of organizational rigor and attention to detail.
- Digital Fluency: Mastery of collaborative and creative platforms, including Google Workspace and project management software (e.g., Asana, Miro). Experience with visual design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
- Analytical Research Skills: The ability to independently research industry benchmarks, synthesize findings, and provide data-backed recommendations for culture and brand enhancements.
- Agility & Initiative: A proactive, self-starting mindset comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of a high-growth, innovative aviation technology environment.

- Timeline: This is an open-ended internship through December 2026, intended to provide long-term project ownership and professional development
- Hours: 15-35 hours per week. We offer a flexible schedule designed to accommodate graduate-level course loads and academic commitments
Benefits and Work Environment
- Salary: $17.00 per hour (hours per week 15 - 35 hours per week)
